yeah, something about comfort with pre-defined limits does it for me, like the syllable space just asks to be filled.
i had dyslexia as a kid, and i think that's what got me writing more than anything, if motivation can really be narrowed down. overcoming that and learning how to read on my own, apart from and later than all the other kids, was such an accomplishment.

i don't know. at least it gets people writing poetry.
